Founded in 1989 by brothers Anthony and Roger Beimers, Long Range Automotive specializes in the manufacture of auxiliary and replacement long-range fuel tanks for 4WD vehicles. With over 200 distinct styles in our product line, we have established ourselves as one of the top two manufacturers in the industry, delivering high-quality, Australian-designed tanks to customers worldwide.

Meet Our Founders

Anthony, a qualified boilermaker, brings a deep passion for restoring classic cars to the company. He works primarily behind the scenes, collaborating with our engineering team to develop innovative designs for the latest fuel tank models. While he can often be found at 4WD trade shows representing Long Range Automotive, his focus remains on engineering excellence.

Roger, a qualified panel beater, shares a love for four-wheel driving and motorbike riding. He plays a crucial role in the office alongside our sales and administration team, while also being actively involved in the workshop, ensuring tanks are expertly fitted. Like his brother, Roger is a familiar face at 4WD trade shows, engaging with our community and customers.

Our Team and Facilities

Over the years, the Long Range Automotive team has grown to include more than 15 dedicated staff members, several of whom have been with us since our inception. Our operations are housed in a spacious 1,200-square-meter facility located in Lilydale, Victoria, enabling us to meet the increasing demand for our products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
